For over half a century, Childbirth Graphics has been at the forefront of producing educational materials for the field of childbirth healthcare. Their demonstration models uphold strict anatomical accuracy while being thoughtfully adjusted from a didactic perspective.
Deluxe Flexible Pelvis Model Set
- Flexible Pelvis Model (26,5 x 18 x 19 cm)
Meticulously designed to showcase the intricate movements that the pelvis undergoes during childbirth. Its flexible anatomy grants the ability to demonstrate exaggerated motions, making it ideal for presentations to groups and classes. The three distinct bone segments are connected with flexible cords so it offers a clear visualization of how the pelvic bones adapt during the childbirth process. The sacrum and coccyx are combined into a single bone segment, allowing for tilting movements, mirroring the changes that occur during fetal descent. The model enables delivery of the foetal model.
- Fetal Model (48 cm)
The fetal model is crafted from durable cloth, capable of showcasing various presentations and positions. The head, carefully constructed from resilient plastic, features palpable anterior and posterior fontanels, enhancing its realism. For a comprehensive display, the body seamlessly connects to the Placenta/Cord/Amnion/Chorion model using a press fastener.
The fetal model can also be purchased seperatly in the colors: beige, light brown, and brown.
- Perineal Cloth Model (12,5x 16,5 cm)
The model can be attached to the pelvis using elastic bands and is perfect for demonstrating perineal stretching, potential episiotomy, and the emergence of the fetal head.
- Placenta/Cord/Amnion/Chorion Model (17,5x 20c m)
This combined model can be used to illustrate the positioning of the fetus within the amniotic sac. The sac features a convenient drawstring closure and is designed in two colors, representing both the amniotic fluid and the chorion membrane. To ensure an accurate representation, the detachable umbilical cord can be affixed to the fetal model’s belly button, completing the realistic depiction. This comprehensive model offers an invaluable teaching aid for educators and medical professionals.
Note: In the demonstration video, a cloth pelvic model is used instead of a flexible pelvic model.
