Holding a dummy can assist in teaching breastfeeding positions or other caregiving techniques, such as burping and correct tongue placement, to an expectant mother. The model represents a 2- to 3-month-old baby.
Description
This realistic model is perfect for demonstrating breastfeeding positions, positions for burping a baby, and other techniques for newborn care. The open mouth is deep enough to insert a fingertip to demonstrate how to check if the tongue is forward and formed into a cup. The head can be turned to show both the proper way to latch on and how to remove the baby from the breast.
The dummy is anatomically correct, 53 cm long, and comes with a hospital identification bracelet and fabric diaper.
